I can’t think of what there called.. The really small turtles that stay small forever and if anyone knows then how many can you keep in a 30 gallon tank?

1. I don’t want a constrictor (boa, python, etc.) because they grow large and I don’t have the space. 2. I would like a snake that is large enough that it can’t get through my bird cages. 3. I don’t want a venomous or aggressive snake. 4. I don’t mind the type/shape/texture/colour of the snake as long as it meets my preferences above. What type of snake would suit me best?

Yesterday I found a small black rat snake in my spring house and decided to keep him for a while to use as an educational tool for my grand children. The problem is, I don’t know anything about keeping a snake, so any suggestions would be appreciated. The snake is about two feet long if that helps any.

He’s a little over a year old now and a bit over 3 feet long. He’s up to small rats every week, and is doing very well. But I’ve read in care sheets that eventually you want to start feeding them every 2 weeks rather than every week. When do I make this transition?

I have never owned a snake or any other reptile before and I am definatly getting one but I don’t know which one to get. I am really fascinated in them and I love to observe their behaviors. I want a good beginner snake that will be very rewarding to own. I don’t want a Ball Python, Corn Snake, or Garter Snake though. Can somebody please help me out?

My friend has a small snake. She feeds it every two weeks. It’s time to feed it again and the snake won’t take the mouse. She’s tried putting it in it’s mouth to try and stimulate the snake to eat. What are the ways you can stimulate a snake to eat? She gives it frozen mice, but warms it up before giving it to the snake. It’s always eaten before. It had been trying to shed, but looked like it had problems. She gave it a little soak to help get the rest of the skin off. How do you know if it’s sick or if it’s just fasting because of shedding?

Etwa 10 Jahren habe ich einmal einen Rattle Snake in meinem Haus.     Wenn jemand helfen kann bin ich dankbar.

Isn’t the percentile ranking and place finish in a race used exactly for the purpose of comparing one performance against another? If someone finished 3rd in a race, and someone else finished 8th, the difference in their places is 5. It says you CAN use interval numbers to determine differences between individuals based on some trait or characteristic. Interval numbers are defined as being consecutive. It gives the examples of numbers on the Fahrenheit scale as an example. I think the part I’m confused about is the difference between ranking and telling differences between individuals.

    • I have an ongoing problem with my hi hat stand and it is that when ever I try to open the hats it squeaks loudly. The hi hats open fine but the volume of the squeaky takes away the emphasis. If it matters the hi hat stand is a Power Beat hi hat stand, it came with my kit.
