Wie wollen Sie wissen, wann eine Sonnenblume ist bereit, seine Samen aus?

    • I've noticed that I love diet Pepsi from the fountains from such places as Burger King or McDonalds, even though I'm not the biggest fan of the same product from the bottle. A buddy explained that the machines at these restaurants use a syrup that's mixed with carbonated water and the water/flavoring ratio is likey different. Does this sound right? Syrup? I suppose economically it sounds about right, though this is the first time I've heard of it. Is this method of manufacture available to me, or only to the franchises? I've tried causing the soda to become a little flat like the fountain drinks are, but it tastes completely different. Also, does anyhone else prefer a beverage from a fountain that they wouldn't otherwise drink from a bottle or can? Thanks in advance!
    • When i try to do switch leaps my front leg barely leaves the ground! My back leg isn't as high as i want it but right now i'm just trying to get it decent looking. I saw the youtube videos for just for kix teaching you how to do switch leaps but that didn't really help. Any tips, exercises to help get my front leg higher off the ground? Thanks!
    • I really want to start skating lessons again. I have been doing several public sessions, and I have asked my mom to call my coach and let her know that I'm ready to start up with some lessons again, but she just kind of keeps pushing it off. My parents are worried that I'm going to move my spinal cord stimulator leads or injure myself again. I can understand why my parents are worried because I've been through a lot in the past year and a half (I've had a knee surgery, 4 spinal cord stimualtor surgeries, and a battery replacment in my hip for my spinal cord stimulator). My doctors have cleared me to go play sports again, and do what I would like; they say that as long as I'm not having pain that I should be fine to participate in sports and other activites. Any suggestions in getting my parents to let me skate again? I have started some doubles, and I do have butt pads. I didn't injure myself on the ice, I did it in a gym class at school. I twisted my knee, and was forced to keep running on it because they never belived that I had a problem until I came to school on crutches after surgery a year later when surgery was the only thing left to do. After the surgery my body reacted badly to it, and got a nerve conditon called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome/Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy

    • Me and my friends are training for a triathlon, and we go swim at the pool every day. When we're doing our laps, we always swim in lanes that are about 7-8 feet deep. Yesterday we had to swim in the more shallow area of the pool, about 4-5 feet deep. As we were doing our laps, we found it harder to swim. We had a theory and want to know if it's true. Is it harder to swim in shallow water than it is to swim in deep water?

    • The book says that ordinal can be used to rank or order individuals or groups, but it can NOT be used to determine how much of a difference exists between individuals. It gives the examples of percentile rankings on standardized tests and place finishes in a race. I don’t understand why these numbers can not be used to determine the difference between individuals. Isn’t the percentile ranking and place finish in a race used exactly for the purpose of comparing one performance against another? If someone finished 3rd in a race, and someone else finished 8th, the difference in their places is 5. It says you CAN use interval numbers to determine differences between individuals based on some trait or characteristic. Interval numbers are defined as being consecutive. It gives the examples of numbers on the Fahrenheit scale as an example. I think the part I’m confused about is the difference between ranking and telling differences between individuals.

    • I have an ongoing problem with my hi hat stand and it is that when ever I try to open the hats it squeaks loudly. The hi hats open fine but the volume of the squeaky takes away the emphasis. If it matters the hi hat stand is a Power Beat hi hat stand, it came with my kit.
